Seminar on Implementing the Program of Compilating and Translating Poverty Reduction Literature in China Launched

　September 19-22,2005, the Seminar on Implementing the Program of Compilation and Translation of Poverty Reduction Literature in China was launched in Nanning, Capital City of Guangxi Autonomous Region .The seminar was sponsored by the International Poverty Reduction Centre in China and host by Guangxi Foreign Capital Poverty Reduction Project Management Center . Mr. Wang Guoliang, Deputy Director General of LGOPAD, Mr. Zhang Lei, Party committee member of LGOPAD and Chief of IPRCC, relevant experts from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, programme officer from CICETE, personnel from IPRCC and members from Programme Division of Gansu Poverty Alleviation Office and Programme Division of Guangxi Poverty Alleviation Office participated in the seminar.
　　As the directors of the two program divisions had briefed the audience of the approach they designed to achieve the program, participants came up with the standards, method and specific procedure of pursuing such four components of the program as The History of Poverty Reduction in China, Research Materials of Poverty Reduction in China, Transformation of Poverty Reduction Policies in China and Case Studies of Poverty Reduction in China.
